- Seeds:
- Before sowing, soak seeds 12 hours in water at 70º F (21ºC)
- Sow seeds 2" (5 cm) apart, ¼ (6mm) cover
- Keep temperature between 65-68º F (18.5-20.0º C)
- May take 12 weeks for first leaf to appear
- Place under high density lights
- Keep seedlings in between 60-65ºF (15.5-18.5ºC) until plants flower
- Care:
- After flowering period, reduced water until leaves die down
- Leave tuber in pot and move to a cool, moderately dry spot for 3 months
- Then repot and place in a cool spot with indirect bright light
