Winchester Cathedral

English Rose

This is one of the few roses that survived the winter under a NuVu cover.
I nearly lost Winchester Cathedral last summer.
I moved the plant to a more sheltered part of the garden.
The air circulation is good, companions are not too close.

Early last week I spread compost and shredded leaves at the base.
First I mixed in alfalfa and bone meal, rock phosphate and an organic rose fertilizer.
Right now it is the healthiest rose of the garden.
